Tide Times

UK Tidal data is owned by Crown Copyright, and therefore sadly we are not allowed to display tide times without paying expensive annual contracts. However we can list some resources that will help you find the tide times for particular locations, and we do sell a range of tide times for the South and South West of the UK.

Short Range (up to 6 days)

1. The BBC lists tide times for the next 6 days. They have a comprehensive list of ports all round the UK. There tide times website can be found here; http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast/tides/

2. The UKHO website also features 7 days of tidal data, and you can pay for data for longer than 6 days.

Long Range (over 6 days)

Once again, due to restrictions, finding tide times longer than 6 days is hard and yet they are important in arranging field trips and useful in booking holidays. There are two options.

1. We sell a range of tide time booklets for the whole year for the following locations, each have free UK Delivery and are just £1.60 each, click each link for full information.

2. NEW - We also sell a brand new 'QuickTide', which will allow you to calculate ANY hightide for the next two years for ANY location. It is simple and easy to use, and is accurate to 30 minutes.

3. We recommend an application called WXTide32. It is FREEWARE so you can download it for free, providing you don't sell it on. The software lists many ports and you can add your own by calculating tidal differences between different locations. This software however uses independent data NOT provided by the UKHO, and therefore may not be as accurate. This software should only be used for planning ahead, please double check tidal data using the 'Short Range' links above. Click here to download the software.
