(Snuff boxes) - 1995

Trace fossils are common but body fossils are not very abundant. An occasional internal mould of an ammonite is found. Oysters and Belemnites are also found. In the above picture, you can see a shell just above the hammer, most shells in the Bridport sands are found in these snuff boxes.
